My students are eager to learn! They love to read, do research, and fill themselves full of facts! These students are excited to come to school and continue growing.
All of the students in my classroom receive free and reduced-price lunch.
They come to school without all the resources some other schools have; however, in spite of that these students are so dedicated.
I am so thankful for the example the students here set for me. These students truly are life long learners!
My Project
I love the program I have to teach the alphabet in my classroom. Each letter is colorfully illustrated and comes with a story that keeps kids engaged. Each letter also has a movement to help students remember the sound.
I also teach sight words to my students and it has occurred to me how wonderful it would be if I had a program that had the same characteristics as our alphabet curriculum; the illustrations, stories and movement.
I was so happy when I found these sight word flash cards that included everything I had been hoping for. I can't wait to use these and see my kindergartners take off with their reading!
