Help me give my students sight word snap cards to help learn their sight words for reading in a fun interactive way using familiar pictures. These sight word snap cards give my students a picture to associate.
My students are Kindergartners-Third grade Exceptional learners, who are eager to learn boys and girls.
They come from a culturally diverse community and attend a Title 1 school. Many of my students lack reading foundational skills and are beginning readers. They need different ways to learn sight words, the normal word drills are not always effective ways for my exceptional students to learn. We are always looking for new and exciting ways to learn how to read. These sight word snap cards help my students to make word associations while reading text on different reading levels.
We will use the snap sight words to help all of our exceptional learners learn to read and master basic sight word skills needed to master reading foundational skills. My students will use the word snaps in association games to help them better remember the sight words when the students see them in written text. This will help my students to increase their overall reading text comprehension skills. The more words my students master helps them to increase their overall reading skills. Better overall reading skills increase my student's self-confidence in class and in all academic settings at school and in the community.
