My Students

Our school provides only one language: Spanish. We serve the most awesome students in grades 9-12 and provide rigorous academics and excellent teachers who do their best to teach the target language for real life application.

Our students are from a wide variety of economic situations.

Many have been adversely affected by the opioid crisis, most receive free or reduced-price lunch, and some don't have access to computers or Internet outside of school.

I would love to support their future successes by giving them opportunities to strengthen the skills they have, branch out into new areas and learn in challenging, yet rewarding ways.

My Project

Confidentiality in the school system is imperative. It's hard to keep up with making sure everything gets discarded properly, and students' records can be exposed without the proper disposal.

A paper shredder will enable me to properly discard of students' records and make sure their info isn't leaked out.

Instead of me hoarding records and information that has their personal information on it until I can find a proper way to get rid of it, the paper shredder will allow me to get rid of the stuff as soon as I no longer need it and recycle the paper securely.
