Showtime in Kindergarten

Help me give my students resources that will engage them in learning and thinking. Students will be able to see each other's work using the white board and will be able to hear each other's ideas.

My Project

Kindergarteners need to be active participants in their educational journey. Whiteboards have been an integral tool in our class where students are able to show their thinking with confidence knowing that mistakes can be easily erased. Having the portability of a mobile white board will enable my students to independently move the whiteboard into position and they can promptly begin to work. In addition to seeing each other's work, It is important for students to hear each other. Kindergarteners are shy and have tiny voices so a microphone is a necessity. Aside from its usefulness, students enjoy the novelty of a microphone and are more motivated to share their ideas.

The sharing of ideas builds student self esteem and confidence and makes them feel like an important member of our classroom community.
