This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello, my name is Ms. Keller and I teach Pre-K and Kindergarten students in a unique public Montessori school. I marvel at my students desire for learning. They devour learning like it's cupcakes!

They are in the early stages of learning to READ!

They also love writing and making little booklets. Writing seems to be a calming, creative process for them. In fact, they would write uninterrupted for hours if allowed to. My students also enjoy nature, science, drawing and crafting. They can often be found crafting things for each other, creating a spirit of kindness among themselves. It’s amazing to see the good-will expressed between them. We appreciate any help you extend to our classroom, thank you in advance.

My Project

My classroom is long on learning but short on storage, because it is a Montessori school, storage is needed for displaying materials. Any shelving received will be used in that effort and to create a comfy seating area for student use.

Every child deserves someone to dream of a classroom environment that inspires.
