Help me give my students a three ring binder so they can keep their greatest classwork neatly organized. In addition, help me give them pencil pouches so they can keep their smaller materials organized.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
New school year, new students, and a new school site at a Title I-funded school! My students are kind, generous, and super motivated.
My students come to school every single day with a smile on their faces because they love school.
I have been amazed at how well they work together and how dedicated they are with their learning. My students love learning about one another as much as they love getting to know me.
Since we returned to school in person, my students have not stopped telling me how happy they are to be back inside a classroom. Their faces lit up the moment they walked into my classroom, some students were so excited when they saw our classroom library. Other students were thrilled to be able to sit on a desk with their name tag on it. It's these little moments that remind me why I work so hard for my students and why I keep coming back to Donors Choose to ask for items that will bring a smile to their faces.
This pandemic took their previous school year away. I want to make this year the best year for them with your help. Thank you!
My Project
The three ring binders will make a difference in my students' confidence by allowing them to showcase their best classwork. Students are using binders as portfolios to showcase their best masterpieces. These masterpieces include quizzes, tests, essays, projects, pretty much any activity or assignment they are proud of. Towards the end of the school year, students will be able to show their parents all of their amazing work.
At the beginning of the school year I sent out a suggested supply list, most parents were able to provide most of the materials, but I noticed some students never brought a three ring binder to the classroom.
Those students seemed a little concerned because they were missing one of the materials I had asked for, I told them it would be ok and not to worry. So now, I find myself asking for binders on Donors Choose. I had four extra binders laying around, but I am still short and would love all of my students to have their own binder versus a paper folder.
I am also asking for other basic supplies that are needed to help us stay organized throughout the school year. I want to provide students with two pencil pouches, one pencil pouch would be used to keep all of their small materials that tend to get lost inside their desks such as pencils, erasers, rulers, markers, etc. The second pencil pouch would be used as their "ticket pouch" where students can put away any raffle tickets they earn in class. My students are currently using Ziplock bags as their "ticket bag", but after four months, these bags are ready to be replaced. Some of these bags don't seal/close properly because the lock part came off from so much usage.
