This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are young, vibrant, energetic and ready to learn. Many are academically low but with lots of small group work, they can achieve anything. Many of them are immature compared to others in their age range due to being the youngest in their families and their family culture. Many of my students come from families with a strong Hispanic background where parents go above and beyond in doing for their child. These students give their best every single day.

My Project

These whiteboards are necessary for my every day classroom activities. I use whiteboards in all subjects to check for understanding on the daily lesson. With double sided whiteboards, my students would also be able to practice their penmanship. The minimal amount of whiteboards that I found in my new classroom this year were in very poor condition. I also don't have enough whiteboards for all students at this time. Without whiteboards, I would need to use sheet paper for most of the activities I plan to do throughout the year. These whiteboards are an eco-friendly alternative to using paper all day every day.
