My Students

I have some amazing students who come to me from diverse backgrounds with varying academic skills. These students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade are eager learners and avid readers.

The media center is one place that every student in the school visits.

They are always looking for new books, learning new information and enjoying exciting opportunities. Students are excited when they hear that it is media day.

My students are also forward thinkers. They try new things without pause. They embraced coding, web browsing, using Google drive, and much more with enthusiasm and energy. They are hard workers and are ready to enjoy new experiences.

My Project

Having iPads will allow my students to bring learning to a new level. They are already becoming avid readers and information seekers. The iPads will allow students to access online books and use interactive stories in a way that was never available in the media center before.

My students are ready to be investigators and creators.

The use of iPads will allow students to interact with text. They will be engaged learners and successful seekers of information. But, that is not all. My students will use video features to create projects such as stop motion animation, book trailers, and video blogs.

But, why stop there? I want my students to be able to use iPads for building new ideas and trying new things. iPads can open up a new world in technology for my Media students.
