My students are hardworking individuals. What I love most about my class is that two-thirds of my students are English language learners, and most of the parents have limited English. Being a part of my students; growth is amazingly rewarding. They bring with them unique and valuable views that enrich us all. They all learn from each other. The students I have this year and the years to come, all have one thing in common; they deserve to have the best learning environment and support.
My Project
My students will be active members that will be able to show how they solved a problem, or explain their novice ideas and projects. The whiteboards will allow for them to work in collaborative groups and be presenters.
Their work and ideas will become the classroom visuals for each other's learning.
The students will also be able to show a map of their work in either reading or math. They will be able to make flow charts and map to link their understanding in reading, and be able to write down the mathematical steps with links to show their solutions. This verticle learning will be an amazing addition to the way my students share their learning to others.
