This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager learners, who can not wait to get back to school. Mant of our students come from large socio-economically disadvantaged families, and are barely scraping by during this pandemic. Others are thriving in ways that many of us didn't think were possible during the traditional school year.

My Project

My students will be able to use the Echo Show to communicate with me during the distance learning. Currently, I am only able to call my students, and we rely on sending pictures back and forth in the middle of the call to see what the other person is doing. This is extremely inconvenient and makes many of the students frustrated, despite only being minutes into the lesson. Being able to video chat with my students using the Echo Show would help our learning be much smoother and more coherent.
