My Students
As an Ag Teacher, I challenge my students to do the best they can on any assigned project. Many of my students do not come from an Agriculture background, so they have never had the opportunities to participate in any sort of farm related activities, but when given the chance they are eager to learn.
My students come from diverse backgrounds as well as minorities, non-traditional, and special populations, but deserve a chance to excel in hands-on and extracurricular projects and activities.
Students will have hands-on experiences with this equipment and will develop valuable skills for the work force.
My Project
The sheep shear stand and clippers will be used so that the students can prepare their project animals for the best possible exhibit at the various shows.
My students need shear stands and clippers to prepare the lambs for the fairs and class projects.
Each year students in Large Animal Science and Vet Science classes will prepare the lambs for competitive events. Students in these classes will get exposure to this equipment and will have an opportunity to use them to perfect their skills. Not only will this equipment be used by students raising show lambs, but all students in the Animal Science Pathway.
