Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students live in a very low economic area. Most of our students have multiple family members living in the same house. If my students are lucky enough to have both parents at home, more than likely both parents work to help make ends meet.
My students get really excited about learning when I can offer them multiple tactical learning opportunities.
My students deserve every opportunities to enrich their learning and find ways to improve their success. Early Childhood is the foundation of their learning career. I want to give them a very strong foundation and these materials will help.
My Project
The triangular crayons and pencils will help little fingers hold better while coloring and writing. The sand and sand trays will reinforce the fine motor skill needed for writing. The colored bean bags will help to reinforce colors and numbers. They will also help me to make fun learning games.
These supplies will help my students to improve their fine motor skills and have fun while learning.
Pre-Kindergartners think it's all playing. They don't seem to think of it as learning. All they think about is having fun. They are so awesome while playing and realizing just how fun it can be. All the time they are learning skills.
