My School scholars are comprised of grades Kindergarten- 12th grade. My school is one of the five schools that comprise an alternative set of schools for the surrounding areas. We offer high School credits to go towards their high school diplomas and scholars are required to take part in standardized testing at the end of the year. Our student body seeks to have smooth transition to new curriculum and implementation of the curriculum through instruction on all grade levels. Our students come to an inviting , welcoming, and personable atmosphere. Eureka Math). The students I have in regular education, 504 students and 1508 students; which have different accommodations. The student body consists of 6th, 7th, 8th grade math along with intervention classes to assist those in need. My love for math and students motivates and inspires me to strive for excellence and commitment.
My Project
Students and teachers are required to provide their own computer. Most classrooms do not contain white boards, projectors, or document cameras; which would enhance the new instruction and learning of the new curriculum being implemented this school year. The document camera and projector will enhance instruction through being able to show educational video, whole group instruction, and hands on interactive modeling.
The document camera and projector along with other supplies will allow for deeper connections and conceptual understanding pertaining to various state standards.
These instruments along with other supplies can ensure effective implementation of Eureka lesson instruction. Teachers can use the document camera and projector in group collaborations, mini lessons by the students, and engaging stations.
