This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students from lower income families and all of my campus receives free lunch. My students come to class not wanting to do anything but leave. We are encouraged in knowing they are amazing and can complete any task. Children in this day and age need technology to access a multitude of resources. It is a joy to see them working hard and achieving their goals set in the classroom. I love when they get so excited about working in the classroom.

My Project

Every morning we gather on the carpet and have community time. This is where my students learn social skills that are key for when they get older. We also have a morning carpet time where my students learn inportant concepts for reading and math. This chart/dry erase board and the added storage will really help my students during this time. Our community time is so important. My students do not learn simple social skills at home and this time allows me to do this. Please consider donating to my classroom.
