As some of the women in this world know it is very hard growing up in this society. Girls go through so much when it comes to fitting in at school. I wanted to start a girls mentoring program so I had a sit down with my principal and she asked me to start a spirit squad. So she put me in charge of starting a spirit squad for the girls and I am super excited to do so. My school has never had one so I am starting from the bottom to reach the top. My girls are all of different types. I was glad to be in charge because I have in my mind to make sure fitness is in our daily routine before the spirit of course
The girls are so excited and I do not want to disappoint them either.
I have 20 girls on the squad and I will rotate girls every up and coming year. The staff is excited just simply because this is the first extracurricular activity the school has had ever. So I am setting the bar for the entire school reputation.
My Project
My students want to be able to set a goal for the school when it comes to fitness. They want to have a fitness minute goal for the school so they need shorts to be able to continue to influence others to get up and move to try to get our kids away from obesity.
As they work, they will have grade level meetings with other students to explain how fitness is important everyday.
They will be mentor as an entire squad to be able to get their goal reached. They are our first spirit squad and they want to go all in this year. They are ready to work towards their personal and school goals for this year.
