My Students

Orchestra class is unlike any ordinary class. Aside from the obvious signs of the class not having the traditional chair and desk look, the students in my class are unlike any other. To be specific, the orchestra students always are enthusiastic, even on the gloomiest days and are always filled with positive energy.

However, our music department is a true exception.

Our combined choir and instrumental programs have produced phenomenally talented young adults and leaders who strive to inspire countless audience members. It is difficult to distinguish them as ordinary high school students at first glance, yet little do you know how much they are empowered through the arts.

My Project

Playing an instrument is not simple. It requires a lot of time and hard work and, of course, the right materials. For example, a violinist needs their violin, bow, shoulder rest, mute, rosin, and more. Our school district provides our students with instruments to play with but not all of the other materials such as shoulder rests, cleaning cloths, rosin, etc.

These necessities do not come at an affordable price for my students.

With the help of donations, I will be able to supply my hardworking students with the materials they need to create the amazing music they strive to play everyday.
