Help me give my students a hockey stick that is the right size. I have several sticks for the younger children which are too small for the fifth graders.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to be at school because it's a place where they are safe, warm, fed and loved. My students are typical kids; they wiggle and talk a lot. I encourage friendship and family. I help them learn to stick up for each other and remember that we are a team.
Students attend the gym at least 150 minutes per week.
The students don't get to run and play outside, recess is eliminated when the weather is cold so the gym is a class they all look forward to.
My students are elementary level and are very low income. They don't have the opportunities to play club sports outside of school. Many have natural talent and would benefit from extra activities. My goal is to introduce them to as many sports as possible so they all find their strengths and feel successful.
My Project
Hockey is huge in Michigan. My students love the hockey unit and rush to the pile of sticks to find one that fits. I have several nice sticks for the lower grades but the fourth and fifth graders are too tall and have to use a stick that is too small.
Hockey is a great unit, my students love to learn the game, the rules, and want to play often.
I teach rules and I teach proper equipment size. I don't have enough of the correct size and students are expected to use the smaller sticks. They work with what we have and enjoy the game. I would like to teach with proper equipment.
