My Students

My students come from low to mid-income families. The school has nearly 2000 students, and all receive free breakfast and lunch. Our desire is to build a strong girls basketball team and need resources to do so. My students fundraise for most of their needs. My students come from diverse backgrounds and work hard.

My students are excited about the upcoming season and have been working to improve each day.

They would benefit from more equipment to assist them with feedback on their progress.

My Project

This project will assist our basketball players in becoming better, more consistent shooters. This will increase their confidence and willingness to shoot the ball during games. This machine provides feedback to each player, which will help in developing a workout for each player. Our athletes have never had this type of equipment, and this would benefit them greatly. By individualizing workouts and increasing confidence, the players will be able to move closer to their goal of winning district, regional, and state championships. The players are excited about this project and are ready to work to make having a shooting machine a reality.
