Help me give my students a basketball hoop that is just their size (the school's basketball hoop is way too tall for our tiny 4-5 year-olds) and magnetic tiles.
Our preschool classroom is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a pencil. Our group loves to play outside and learn new games. They learn best through intentional play activities. Our students are eager to learn and always on the move. We work closely with parents to ensure the best possible outcome for our students. Everyday is an adventure in our classroom!
My Project
Our students love trying to shoot basketball hoops in our school gym. However, the traditional sized basketball hoops used in our school are too tall for any of our tiny preschoolers to make a hoop. This hoop will be just their size to improve gross motor skills and team work.
Our students love creating and building with various objects.
The magnetic tiles will give our students an opportunity to use skills such as designing and planning, fine motor, and creativity. They are durable, colorful and easy to use, which fits in well with any preschool classroom.
