Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The quote below explains a lot about every student that sets foot in my classroom. Every student deserves every chance to succeed in my classroom. All my students deserve all the opportunities that I can provide for them from seating to instruction. My students are at a school that is 90% free and reduced lunch and title 1. All students come together from all parts of Oklahoma City. Students come in every day to find peace and a place to consider safe.

My Project
My school is a startup school this year. Many funds have been needed elsewhere, and I would like to provide for my basketball team when the season arrives. Being able to have practice jerseys and cones will allow my coaches and I to scrimmage and practice with more knowledge of who is on who's a team. A coaches board will allow me to call time outs during games to show my team specifically what I want them to do on the court. The mesh ball bag will allow my team to transport our own basketballs to games or practices if needed. Being able to supply these supplies for my team would really help kick start our new school.
