Shirts, Pants, and Ties for the Guys!

My Project

Many of our boys at our school have little opportunities to dress up and lead. With our gentlemen's group "Tie Guys" we focus on just that. Leadership skills and looking the part. Every week on "Tie Tuesday" our group of boys meet with me to practice leadership skills and learn to tie our ties. On top of those skills, we are also learning how to be independent. They will be learning to wash and iron the shirts and pants they receive each week. With these skills they will also be serving the school and at events.

We are asking for new shirts pants and ties for the boys in Tie Guys!

Nearly 50% of our students are living under the poverty line. It would be a lot to ask for them to provide these things on their own.

We hope to create a unified "look," so that students all around the school can look and know they are responsible leaders.

It is our plan to re-use the clothing year to year for as long as they hold up.
