Shining a Light on Geometry

My students need this geometry light-up activity center to help with understanding geometric shapes. They will also have a hands-on opportunity to create and manipulate with them.

My Students

My students are hard working and very creative. They strive to do their best. They are always willing to work. We are a low income school, so we are not always able to purchase everything that we would like to for our students. But with what we do offer them, they complete their goals and their love of learning. They care for one another and our proud of our rural school system. Our school may be small, but we are proud of what we can achieve.

My Project

With the Geometry Light-up Activity Center, my students will be able to build and create with different geometric shapes. This will give them an opportunity to handle geometric shapes in a different way. They will also have an opportunity to be creative. The Light-up Center give our classroom new technology to learn with. We will be able to use this during Math sessions and center time with students. Having these to use will especially help the students that are hands-on learners. Students will also be able to see the different geometric shapes in everyday items that we use. Having these Geometry Light-up Activity Centers will encourage my students to learn and create using geometric shapes.
