Help me give my students some more light table materials! We need a Light Table Sensory Tray, along with some fun manipulatives to put inside and explore! My students love sand and sensory play!
My Preschool students are classified with Individualized Education Programs (IEP). They love hands-on activities and learning through play. These kiddos are loving and full of energy. These students need early, meaningful experiences to help kick-start their educational foundation. The foundation of this classroom is based on the individual needs of each of my students. These students have significant needs in the areas of communication and language, social skills, and academics. Through structured routines and repetition, my students experience success and will make a difference in the world!
My Project
These materials are perfect for my 3 and 4 year old students with special needs. My students LOVE exploring through play with sensory and hands-on materials! The materials in this project include a light table tray, translucent beads, along with translucent manipulatives like plastic bugs and buttons!
With these materials, we can explore colors, the effects of light, and cause and effect relationships when playing in the table!
These materials are also essential for my kiddos to learn sharing and cooperation. We can also facilitate communication through these materials and practice our classifying skills by sorting by color, shape, size, etc. These materials are sure to be a favorite in my classroom and will be used to inspire learning and discovery every day!
