Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our library is a special place where students come to explore, learn, and fall in love with reading. But with so many little hands flipping through pages every day, our books take a beating. Covers get torn, spines wear out, and sometimes we have to replace the same books over and over again because they just don’t last.

That’s where book covers can make a huge difference!

These simple materials help protect our books from spills, tears, and all the daily wear and tear that comes with being loved by kids. With covers, our books will stay looking nice and usable much longer, so more students can enjoy them without worrying about broken pages or worn-out covers.

This isn’t just about saving our books—it’s about saving money, too. Instead of replacing the same titles year after year, we can use those funds to add new and exciting books to our library. Plus, when kids see books that look fresh and well-kept, they’re more likely to treat them with care and take pride in keeping them nice for others.

With your help, we can protect our library’s books, stretch our budget further, and keep our shelves full of great stories for years to come!
