My students need a reading rug and desk socks to keep our reading time quiet and comfortable.

Making learning more meaningful and exciting requires educators to bring learning to real life. Students who practice applying their knowledge of content to real life or hands-on activities perform higher on state assessments.
The students in my classroom lack opportunities to apply their academic content skills in real-life application projects and activities.
Having science and social studies materials to enhance not only instruction in those areas, but reinforce the integration of those subjects with reading and writing, set my students up for more success. Implementing real life activities, inquiry-based learning, projects, and labs requires a lot of time and dedication from the teacher! My students need more experience taking their hands-on learning to another level. Having resources to make this happen is appreciated.
My students are learning the importance of reading. We are learning how to build up our reading stamina but making sure we are in a comfortable place. Our classroom isn't big enough to have lots of bean bags, but my kids love laying on the floor and meeting on the floor to talk about books.
Choosing the perfect place to read and making sure the environment is calm and safe is important during our Independent Reading Time.
My students value reading time but we need your help with getting a rug for our students to lay on and have chair socks for our desks and chairs to make the classroom environment a little quieter and peaceful during transitions.
