"What are we doing today?" This is the first statement I hear from students when they enter the art room. They are always very anxious to get started on a project and to use their creativity. My students come from wonderfully diverse, ethnic backgrounds of culturally enriched, inner city kids, who are always excited and anxious to make art, and learn about different techniques, and artists.
We have tight budgets with limited amount of resources, so my artists need your help to make sure that each artist will have the opportunity to have the best quality of art education.
Our students love to create, and with these supplies, students will be using the supplies on projects that are planned, which will give them the best experiences that I can provide for them.
My Project
We have new, exciting projects planned for our next school year, and we need some supplies for our projects! We need some glazes, plaster and some metal tooling supplies!
Making frescos, metal tooling, and mosaics are some of the projects we will be doing this next school year!
Students will be learning about the Renaissance, Impressionism and Pop art. We will be needing supplies, so students can experience making frescos similar to artist during the Renaissance. We will also learn how artists during that time made illuminated letters, and will need metal tooling supplies.
I am so excited about what students will be learning and some of the projects that will be going along with our unit of study, but we need your help, or students will not have enriched projects as what is planned.
