My Students

The Theatre Department has a remarkable amount of greatly talented and dedicated students, and because of their determination, hard work, and great ability, International Thespian Society, Troupe 1171 was invited to perform at the 2019 International Thespian Festival in June. Our 2018 fall production of Qui Nguyen's She Kills Monsters was selected as one of only 5 productions to perform at Kimball Stage and are honored to have this great honor bestowed.

My students have worked with such dedication and determination that this honor is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate how great the ability, talent, and skills are of the students in the Theatre Department.

My Project

Performing at the International Thespian Festival is a once in a lifetime opportunity only a few are invited to experience. The top high school performances and school are selected and invited to perform their production at the International Thespian Festival where students from all 50 states and Canada come to audition for college scholarships, watch the best of the best high schools perform, and participate in Broadway quality workshops.

My students were honored to be selected as one of 5 productions to perform on Kimball Stage and are now challenged to raise the necessary funds to afford attending the Festival.

This opportunity is once in a lifetime and showcases the great talent the students in the Theatre Department have.
