Greetings! I am a fourth grade teacher in the Bronx. I have 31 students who go through pencils at an extraordinary rate. Since September we have gone through approximately 1,000 pencils and four electric pencil sharpeners. I am requesting funding to purchase a ultra-mega-heavy duty pencil sharpener and a supply of regular and motivational pencils that will get my class through the remainder of the school year. I have found that some of my students do not even have pencils at home to complete their homework. Thank you for your consideration!
