My students need a pencil sharpener, pencils, and erasers to take us through the remainder of the year. An electric pencil sharpener is necessary in order for me to stay prepared and organized for the day.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 18 3rd grade students in rural South Carolina. Our school is designated as Title I, based on our student population. My students need an electric pencil sharpener and a printer.
I am always so excited to see their faces once they grasp a new concept!
I remind them that they are doctors, engineers, inventors, scientists, writers, and etc.. In their field, just like doctors are experts in their field, they are experts in the field of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
My Project
My class need an electric pencil sharpener, pencils, and erasers to last for the remainder of the year. The pencil sharpener is necessary in order to stay organized and prepared for our daily activities. You would be amazed at how much instructional time is lost sharpening pencils throughout the day. With a sharpener I can sharpen them quickly in the morning so my day can flow more smoothly. You can definitely NEVER have enough pencils and erasers. We take pencils for granted and they are one of the most important supplies that we have! Please help fund our project and our kids needs.
