Help me give my students basic classroom supplies like paper, markers, and an electronic pencil sharpener!
This project expired on February 20, 2020.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students live in a high poverty neighborhood but are all typical second graders. They love to play with their friends, sing, draw, and talk. My students are kind, funny, and smart.
We start every day off with breakfast in our classroom, family style.
Everyone gets free breakfast through a grant our school received. We sit around our tables eating and talking about what we did last night or what we will do after school. My students love to play, learn, talk, and interact with everyone! They love sharing their writing papers or drawings with the whole class!
My school is a Title I school in Missouri. Our school has over eighty-five percent of students who receive a free or reduced-price lunch. The teachers and staff of our school love all our students and only want the best for them.
The copy paper will help my students print their writing assignments. They have been learning to type and can’t wait to print their writing! The markers will help us get to the end of the year while still having markers to use for everyday things like making pictures to go with our work and making cards for friends. The electric pencil sharpener will help us sharpen our pencils easily. Having the supplies we need will help us to complete the work we want to do. It will help my students to have fresh markers when they need them as well.
