Sharp Pencils for Sharp Minds

My students need two electric pencil sharpeners and pencils.

I teach first grade in Northern Indiana. Our community has been greatly impacted by the poor economy. Many of my student's parents worked in the manufactured housed industry and are currently out of jobs.

With school starting soon many of the parents aren't able to help with basic school supplies. They are struggling to keep their homes and feed their families.

I am asking for donations to buy 2 pencil sharpeners and 7 dozen pencils for our classroom. We don't have a pencil sharper in our classroom and it would be helpful to have one available to us. Needless to say, first graders go through a lot of pencils during a year and the pencils would be most helpful.

By donating to this project you would be providing nice, sharp, pencils to children who need them. They want so badly to learn but need some supplies to achieve this. I hope you will consider helping them.
