Help me give my students an I-Pad to share for special projects. We would like to have a reliable camera for taking pictures and videos of the learning that takes place in our room and around school.
My classroom is located in a large district in Southern California. Ninety percent of students at my school receive free or reduced priced meals. Many students come to school with challenges that make learning difficult; however, it doesn't stop their love of learning. My students enjoy being in my classroom as I nurture them into responsible, caring citizens of the world!
My fourth grade scholars are enthusiastic learners!
They like to learn and they like trying out new ways of learning. They are currently using Chromebooks in the classroom, but those don't have all the capabilities that an I-Pad would have.
My Project
We would like to have one iPad in our classroom that we could share for learning projects. We have become very comfortable using our class set of Chromebooks, but we think we could add to that creativity if we just had one iPad.
The iPad will help our classroom with many creative projects.
We would like to be able to use the video feature in our speaking practice, the camera for documenting our learning, and adding digital features to projects. We think sharing an iPad would really add to our leaning. We may also want to connect with other classrooms across the state or country, or taking virtual field trip while viewing it under the document camera.
