My Students

I have a wide variety of students that range from special education students, some with emotional disabilities to ones that are participating in the gifted program in our building. They are all super sweet, even as 7th graders, and are wonderful at just about anything they try.

They deserve everything I can do to support their learning.

They love to work on projects. They love to know what they are headed and what their goals are. They are just amazing students who can be successful in anything they do!

My Project

Students will be able to view and present in real time work that is being completed. Students will also be able to use the document camera to view what I am working on at the same time as them.

The document camera will allow the students to see work develop in real time.

Too often they see final products, this will give them the opportunity to see thinking develop and adapt throughout the course of reading, writing and project development.

Using the camera they will be able to display to the class their work as it develops. I will be able to show them my annotations, thoughts, or any other ideas on the page quickly. As students write, and I write, seeing the changes as they occur will help make their learning more concrete.
