Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students that I teach come from a very wide range of economics, cultural, social, and emotional background. We, the teaching staff, try to supply our students with the necessary equipment to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially in this ever changing world.

My Project

By supplying my kids with these 3-D models they can begin to get the experience of how real scientist conduct various investigations while working in an actual lab environment. These material will only be used in the school setting; as all classes will be able to use them this year and years to come.

Can you begin to imagine the impact that this small gesture will have on the minds of inspiring engineers, doctors, and business leaders who are coming from a background of poverty, low economic disparity and a lack of post-secondary educational support?

By providing them with the same opportunities that many other students their age are given will help to close the academic gap that is so evident in a low-income environment.
