My Students
My students are excited about learning while staying at home with their parents. All my students are from low income family some lost their jobs and others work long hours just to make ends meet. As a teacher I try hard to make home activities that are meaningful and easy for parents to use whatever they have at home. My students and parents are experiencing barriers more now than before in teaching their child at home. As their teacher I tell the parents just make it fun and do their best you can with what you have. It may seem like a small thing to ask for but not for my student manipulative, blocks, sorting, building, counting things something they cannot buy.
My Project
Teaching them alphabet and shapes will advance their learning on how to build and make things. Working with alphabets and shapes is the foundation for reading, writing and mathematics. I will be able to enhance their learning giving them the opportunity to make a change in their lives for the better. They can and will be that great scholar who can read, write and use math to build things. Who knows they my be our next future house designer. My students are writing first and last names always want to draw or build something using with their little bitty hands. Shapes and ABC's just goes together they help our world go round and round. Help my students shoot for the stars.
