This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Here at my campus we educate and enrich our babies (no matter their age, they're still our babies), in better education, social-emotional skills, and LOVE that's often not seen in underprivileged zones. It is our mission here to give our scholars the best education and push them to college when the demographics said they won't.
Our Scholars have broken school records, they are full of life and hidden talents.
They love to draw and need I say give them an expo marker and a whiteboard and watch what they can do. They love music. We have so many scholars that are brilliant with their words. The sonnets and ballads they write are amazing. They're definitely not afraid to explore the world of Science. Let it be building a roller coaster and test the limits of physics or deep body diving in the eradication of several diseases they're ready. Our scholars are an amazing group of kids that are setting goals, breaking standards, and exceeding up and beyond.
My Project
While my babies/ scholars are excellent readers they need help with books to read! As we know not many schools have libraries anymore so our scholars doesn't have the resources to get a book. Yes, Yes I know there's the public library but we have to understand, a lot of our scholars get up really early so they have to go to bed early as well. Our Scholars travel far to get back home, so something as simple as going to to library isn't always an option.
That's why I am asking for these books to be bought please.
Let's give these babies more exposure to reading. Let us not have the reason for them not reading be because they don't have access to a book.
