Help me give my students the gift of percussion with these bell kits, cymbals and mallets to play them so that my rhythm talented students can participate in a ensemble!

My students are musically addicted and talent fueled! At our school, we get students from all over in Detroit. Many of our students come from high need households, some with immigrant families who are English language learners.
80% of our students are African American, and 15% are first or second generation from a variety of southeast Asian and middle eastern countries.
Students have had opportunities to participate in many opportunities, such as in a number of internships in the adjacent hospital, after school clubs and other science and medicine related activities.
At our high school, our musically interested students for the first time will be able to join a band. Bell kits (with snare practice pads and mallets), cymbals, and a bass drum mallet will provide the opportunity for the kids to play real percussion instruments in the classroom. This provides them with the idea of steady beat and rhythmic support in an ensemble and it also helps to build the self-esteem that they need. As they progress, they will be able to do team and independent projects to build musicianship.
This will not only give students in band instruments to play, but allow all students to experience percussion sounds as they analyse and compose their own music.
Furthermore, we will be able to travel with these and allow for students to practice their talents at home. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom, but hopefully allow students to play concerts for family, friends, and the community.
