My Students

Last year covid canceled our season. There were a few returning senior boy players that were disappointed. All the girls had never played golf competitive if at all.

This year all players, boys and girls, are new to competitive golf.

We need lots of practice. Most players use golf clubs donated to our school. nearly all students are from low-income households. All school's community has the highest percentage of Hispanic students.

My Project

Much needed supplies. Shag tubes will help players collect balls on a field at school. Golf tees are an expendable item. The field is across the road and is mowed regularly.

We are a young team of high school boy and girls golfers looking to hit lots of golf balls!

We recently won a Donor Choose grant to purchase golf flags to use as targets on our improvised golf range. This is convenient in that we do not have to provide transportation to a golf course ten minutes away. The team has lots of shag balls to use.
