The students who will be affected by this project come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our school includes children from the inner city and those from rural parts of the community.
The students truly give an accurate representation of what the United States has become. Our school embodies the "melting pot" motto, and they put this theme into practice with a variety of ideas, learning styles, and personalities.
My Project
This project will benefit numerous students in a multitude of capacities. The world we live in requires more attention to safety and supervision. This has carried over into the athletic world in public schools. Our school is required to have all parents or guardians sign their child out in order to leave. This process can be extremely hectic when at XC meets or invitationals.
This tent will provide a safe and easily identifiable place for both athletes and parents to meet.
It will allow me, as a coach, to perform my duties better, knowing my athletes have a place to gather during meets. Please help us succeed in providing athletes with a safe place to hang out while participating in extracurricular activities.
