This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our school is in a transition to improve the lives of the entire student body, through social emotional skills, school spirit, self-awareness, and academics. This initiative is needed and necessary for the Ben Hill Community.
The Student Government Association created "Laundry Day," an in-house community service to combat the high percentage of student absences.
The Student Government Association is in need of laundry materials such as laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and fabric softener by hosting laundry day to demonstrate leadership to improve and encourage student attendance across all grade levels.
