Help me give my students these items to keep our supply of tools, equipment, fabric and thread well stocked! I have some special projects planned that they will enjoy!
My students are excited about my sewing class, Project Runway. When they can take a completed project home and put it to use or even give it as a gift, they build confidence in addition to the life skills developed in making the project. Whether they are making a tote bag, pillow or draw string bag, the fabrics they use say a lot about their personalities. In order to express themselves through their creativity, I am trying to provide them with fabrics choices that are fun, popular, and expressive. Please help my classes take these projects to a new level and increase their enjoyment in learning how to sew!
My Project
I am reaching out to friends and family of the MMS community to help my classes enjoy some fun projects! If I have the proper supplies in the classroom, we can all focus on the sewing process. It's the supplies behind the sewing that make these projects happen! Hand sewing needles, thread, bobbins and needle threaders all make these projects possible and fun! Hands on activities enrich the learning experience and will give them the basics for being able to use these skills in the future, whether its through a career or in their home life.
