I am working with students on life skills, being able to sew buttons, see how basic stitches are done, and embroidery.
I am requesting a craft table, heat press machine, organizational supplies, and thread to get this idea off the ground.
Students will learn about the importance of measuring, and using the internet to find patterns. They will use shapes to complete a blanket or another project of their choice using the fabric, buttons, and thread with this project.
Students will learn about the importance of not only basic math but the metric system as well. Students will apply STEM to complete this project.
