My Students

Everyday life skills and managing one's life are a necessity, we know as adults how valuable these practices are and try to encourage and teach our children or our students these values. In teaching Family and Consumer Sciences I witness every day the impact they are making on their own lives by learning and valuing the basic aspects of everyday rituals. They are hard-working and dedicated minds that are shaping our future. Help shape their experiences, we will all value from it in the long run!

My Project

My students are beyond frustrated with the sewing machines they have been using in class, due to old age and the difficulties of finding a sewing machine repairman in our area, we are all at our wits end! The students love to sew, they say is it meditating, but they can't successfully meditate while working with our machines, which always seem to be having their own breakdowns or other malfunctions!

We are in desperate need of new machines and would love to be able to get through an entire project without a machine malfunction hindering our creative abilities!

Help my students achieve their creative abilities with properly working machines and technology. These are skills that they will be grateful for in the future and proud of the work they were able to achieve through our program.
