My students come from all walks of life. Each of them enter kindergarten with such enthusiasm to learn, engage, explore, and grow! For all, this is their first full day experience in a school setting. While they share in such excitement, they also have numerous unique and sometimes challenging academic needs.
It is my goal to give each student, regardless of academic standing, a chance to reach his/her fullest potential and grow leaps and bounds.

My Project
These activities will provide students with an engaging and hands-on way to practice skills so vital to their learning journey.
The game like fashion, bright colors, and simple pictures found on all of these products are a developmental way for my kindergarten students to learn, collaborate, explore, and think critically.
Currently, students use several paper small group activities that are in black and white and falling apart. They simply do not hold the interest of my students! With the purchase of these new interactive literacy stations, students will be engaged and have a love for learning for years to come! Some of these items include letter/sound games, beginning sound sorts, and "fishing" for sight words using fishing poles.
