Serving School, District, Community and State with Poise and Purpose!
Help me give my students tools to run safe and efficient service projects, fundraisers, concessions and events. Of greatest need is safety in the transporting of concession items, thus the request for the folding utility wagon.
Our school sits in the middle of a unique, rural city and has a very neat mixture of students. We are a Title I school where many of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Our school also services an Air Force base and is a government relocation site for Marshallese families due to post-war nuclear testing, which creates special challenges and opportunities.
This project will benefit the entire school and our community by providing us with materials and supplies for multiple service projects, events, activities and trips.
We are very active and engaged on a school, district, community and state level. Having safe and reliable equipment to make our events more enjoyable, safe and profitable is a huge help for teachers and sponsors such as myself who spend many hours outside of school encouraging service and community engagement. The items in this request will assist us in many ways and on many levels.
My Project
Advertising at a school and community level takes much time and uses many materials...and we are always advertising. We advertise digitally but also physically by way of signs, posters and flyers. This is why you will see some of the materials listed. You will also see items to help us in our efforts to create better and safer concession sessions.
Our Leadership Class and student council provide many services in the community and on a district level.
We are always advertising for events, hauling concession and activity items, and dispersing recycled materials among several, local organizations. We need to become more organized and efficient while increasing ease and safety. Thus you will see items such as storage containers and a fold-up utility cart.
