El. are hard-workers and dedicated to learning to achieve success. The students are caring and inspired to help meet the needs of those less fortunate. The students strive to put into action good deeds towards their peers, teachers, and administrators. There is no perfection with any of us, but the students are in the pursuit to make Kindness count at D. E.

My Project

There's an artist inside of everyone. These canvas totes will activate and stimulate the creativity that's within every child. Children get the opportunity to exercise their imagination and illustrate it on their canvas tote. The students learn about important causes and issues while empowering them with resources and tools to address those issues through this meaningful hands-on project.

Students will create colorful totes and fill the totes with books that will be donated to local organizations servicing disadvantaged children (homeless shelters with children, orphanages, and/or youth programs).

The purpose is to inspire the children to read and achieve success in reading and math literacy benchmarks.
