Sensory Tools and Fidgets for Special Education Classroom!

My Project

Students with disabilities, especially with ADHD or autism, often struggle with sensory processing needs that can interfere with their ability to focus in the classroom. Our school supports a large population of children who need extra sensory input.

As a full inclusion school, our students with autism and other sensory needs deserve the tools in every space to be successful!

The fidgets, kick bands, and wobble cushions will be used to support their focus as they access their grade level content in all spaces. The weighted lap pads and stuffed animals will support them in moments of feeling overwhelmed or when they may need extra comfort.

All students deserve to have a classroom environment and resources that meet their needs and support their limitless growth!
