Our classroom is an Early Intervention Special Education Classroom that supports 3 to 5-year-old students who have developmental delays and disabilities. A variety of learning occurs in our classroom. Our goal is to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students to help them improve their skills and development.
Early intervention supports not only students but also their families.
Our classroom strives to provide resources for families to help them continue supporting their children's development. We love that we have the opportunity to work so closely with students and their families at such a crucial age for development.
My Project
This is a continuation of our last DonorsChoose.org project to help add new sensory items and furniture to our classroom. The students in our classroom receive many benefits from sensory play and sensory breaks throughout the day.
My students highly enjoy sensory play throughout their routine!
Our sensory table exploration project will help us obtain new, safe, and washable items for our sensory table for us to explore! These items will provide many opportunities for us during play and break times. We will enjoy exploring the new items in our sensory table while taking turns with our friends. We are excited for this project through DonorsChoose.org to obtain new materials for our classroom.
