Sensory Swinging

Help me give my students a swing to help regulate sensory needs throughout the day.

My Project

My students have a variety of sensory needs that need to be constantly met throughout the day. One thing that helps them to regulate their needs is by swinging. We have one swing in the classroom but we often have multiple students at once that could greatly benefit from swinging.

Having a portable swing would allow us to add another swing to our classroom so multiple students can choose a swing to regulate their emotions throughout the day.

My students need to take breaks often throughout the day and usually after completing one activity because it is hard for them to stay focused and complete tasks. The swing is one thing that works well to help regulate emotions and sensory needs so we want to continue to provide that option for more than one student at a time.
