My Students
My students love to learn! To foster their love for learning we need hands-on centers. These supplies will help make learning fun by keeping our students busy with hands on materials.
We are a small pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school in Oklahoma.
My class consists of 20 four and five-year-olds. Because of the demographics of our school, we do not get much federal assistance. My students are very tactile learners. They need to touch and manipulate objects to help develop spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and language skills.
My Project
Prekindergarten students love to have hands on experiences. Having a tub to go onto our light table to create a sensory experience will be an awesome activity for my class. My students are hands on learners! My students are active, moving four and five year olds. To hold their attention we do lots of hands on activities. We start our year with fine motor activities and build through out the year to include math, reading, science and social studies. Using materials such as sensory buckets will foster growth in my students. Having these materials in my prekindergarten classroom will enhance learning and make it fun!
